Biographical Sketch
Dr. Wilson K Rumbeiha is a professor of One Environmental Toxicology in the Department of Molecular
Biosciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis, USA. He obtained his DVM
from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda and his PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Toxicology Emphasis)
from the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He is board certified by the ABT, the ABVT, and
is a Fellow of the ATS. He is also a fellow of American Association for Advancement of Science. His
research focuses on the role of the environment in neurodegeneration and on One Health Toxicology.
His current basic research focuses on hydrogen sulfide toxicity. He is serving on editorial boards of
several journals. He has published over 75 peer reviewed publications.
